About Doosan

Since the production of the first forklift in Korea in 1968, the Forklifts Division has been determined to meet customers’ needs for quality material handling supplies and services.

We design all our machines to offer simple, powerful and performance as well as operator comfort and environmental friendliness, that help you to get the most from your investment. As a result, we have won many awards.

We now supply our forklifts to over 90 countries and have become a preferred supplier to many of the world’s leading fleet users. Doosan is a major new force in materials handling. 

 

Established following the acquisition of Daewoo Heavy Industries in 2005 by the Doosan Group, the company is now part of a $12bn organisation that stretches across the globe.

Our European presence was established in 1993 and is located in Belgium. Apart from the headquarters in Belgium, Doosan Industrial Vehicle Europe has also sales offices in the three major markets: France, Italy and Germany.

Our range covers over 100 models in total, spanning 1.3-25 tonnes, electric, gas and diesel. All our European forklift trucks are currently made in Korea (Counter-Balance Trucks) and Germany (Warehouse Range and Air Cargo).

More than just a name

Doosan is made up of two Korean words. ‘Doo’ means a unit of grain, while ‘San’ means a mountain. Together, they mean ‘little grains that can build a mighty mountain’, suggesting that great things can be achieved when even the tiniest forces join together in a unified effort.

Doosan’s main businesses are split into 6 subsidiaries including Doosan Corporation, Doosan Heavy Industries, Doosan Infracore, Doosan Construction, Doosan Engines and Doosan Mecatec.

Our forklifts and reach trucks are produced in our factory in Korea, and have proven to be very reliable. Our premium quality warehouse equipment is made in Germany. We offer a comprehensive line-up that will respond to all your warehouse needs.
